What is Pain???

Pain is an uncomfortable feeling that tells you something may be wrong.

THE FOUR MAJOR TYPES OF PAIN:

  • Nociceptive Pain: Typically, the result of tissue injury. ...
  • Inflammatory Pain: An abnormal inflammation caused by an inappropriate response by the body's immune system. ...
  • Neuropathic Pain: Pain caused by nerve irritation. ...
  • Functional Pain: Pain without obvious origin, but can cause pain.

Chronic pain is different. Your body keeps hurting weeks, months, or even years after the injury. Doctors often define chronic pain as any pain that lasts for 3 to 6 months or more. Chronic pain can have real effects on your day-to-day life and your mental health.

It can be:

  • A dull ache
  • Throbbing
  • Burning
  • Shooting
  • Squeezing
  • Stinging
  • Soreness
  • Stiffness

Sometimes pain is just one of many symptoms, which can also include:

  • Feeling very tired or wiped out.
  • Not feeling hungry
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Mood changes
  • Weakness
  • A lack of energy

Chronic Pain and Your Mental Health

  • Chronic pain can interfere with your daily life, keeping you from doing things you want and need to do. It can take a toll on your self-esteem and make you feel angry, depressed, anxious, and frustrated.
  • Joint pain is extremely common, especially as you age.
  • In one national survey, about one-third of adults reported having joint pain within the past 30 days. Knee pain was the most common complaint, followed by shoulder and hip pain. But joint pain can affect any part of your body, from your ankles and feet to your shoulders and hands.

A wide range of conditions can lead to painful joints:

  • Osteoarthritis, a “wear and tear” disease, is the most common type of arthritis.
  • Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder that happens when your body attacks its own tissues.
  • Bursitis is when sacs of fluid that help cushion your joints get inflamed.
  • Gout is a form of arthritis that most often affects your big toe joint.
  • Strains, sprains, and other injuries.

Homeopathy as a choice of therapy

Homeopathy helps you recover of your pains, by a well-defined process of understanding minutest details of your physical symptoms. Once your case is taken, it itself acts as a stimulus to trigger the healing mechanism in body. As per the diagnosis, and pathology involved, a remedy is selected for getting relief in best possible way.

We have observed that during the healing process not only the severity of complaint diminishes, but also frequencies of such episodes go down. Even patterns of sleep and general wellness improve remarkably, with these small pills which do not have any adverse effects.

In my experience of +20 years, I have found, Homeopathy as the kind of healing therapy which heals in a most holistic and simplistic way thus healing our system, as a whole, and have long lasting profound healing effect.
